Reid ran severl seasons for the Patriots in both Cross Country and Track. His personal bests on the track include a 25.05 in the 200m, a 4:33.12 in the 1500m, a 56.61 in the 400m, a 1:20.54 in the 600y, a 2:02.10 in the 800m. His personal bests in cross country include a 38:58.0 in the 10K, 1 27:47.6 in the 8K, and a 17:02.8 in the 3.12 mile race.

In high school, Reid set a school record by completing a 3.12m course in 17:31. (this record has since been broken by Cameron Watson in 2017)
