College Career:
While competing for Texas A&M, Tarik recored personal bests in three events. He ran a personal best 48.96 in the 400m race in 2017 and his personal best in the 800m came in 2016 when he notched a 1:54.18. At a 2017 indoor meet, his best 1000m record was recorded at 2:31.93.

High School:
Tarik still ranks amoung Second Baptist's best track athletes. He is holding on to 6th place all time in the 200m at 22.38, 2nd all-time in the 400m with a 49.26, he holds the SBS record in the 800m with an impressive 1:58.51 and he is 8th all-time in the 1600 with a 5:16.1h.
