2015: Team captain, started all 14 games at three different positions (LT, RT, RG) throughout the season ... graded out to an 81 percent on the Houston O-Line Grade Sheet ... played 1,046 snaps on offense, allowing just one sack on the year ... averaged 4.8 knockdown blocks per contest ... helped lead a team that ranked 10th nationally in scoring offense (40.4 points per game), 13th nationally in rushing offense (235.8 yards per game) and 20th nationally in total offense (484.1 yards per game) ... made his 12th start in win over Navy ... helped offense to 218 rushing yards an three touchdowns vs. Midshipmen ... helped offense to four rushing touchdowns in comeback win over Memphis ... helped offense to 266 rushing yards and a score vs. Cincinnati ... helped team to two rushing scores in win over the Commodores ... at Tulane, led offensive line en route to four rushing TDs ... helped team to seven rushing touchdowns vs. Mustangs ... helped offense rush for 365 yards at Tulsa ... helped offense rush for 366 yards vs. Texas State ... helped the offense rush for 272 yards against Tennessee Tech.

2014: Started all 13 games during the 2014 season at right tackle ... helped the Houston offense gain 2,391 yards on the ground for 4.8 yards per rush and 28 rushing touchdowns in those 13 games ... helped the Cougar offense's comeback against Pittsburgh in the Armed Forces Bowl ... made just his second career start in the 2014 season opener vs. UTSA ... tallied one tackle in that game.

2013: Played in 12 games with one start as a tight end in the team's jumbo formation ... also a member of Houston's field goal team ... finished the year with 69 snaps on the offensive line.

2012: Moved to offensive lineman prior to the start of fall practice ... provided depth on the offensive line and was a member of the team's jumbo package against Tulsa and Tulane.

2011: Redshirted.

High School: Listed as a top-100 recruit in the Houston area ... played both ways tallying five catches for 54 yards and a touchdown on offense and racking of 13 sacks and two fumble recoveries on defense ... helped his team go 7-5, 5-2 in TAPPS 4-II ... only played two years of high school football ... also played basketball, earning 4-4A All-District honors ... high school coach was Mike Sneed ... chose Houston over Baylor, Kansas State, Rice and SMU.

"I was blessed to be a part of some great teams and have great coaching at Second. I wouldn't have ever picked up a football if it wasn't for Coach Mike Sneed asking me every day. During my first year of football, every coach on staff dedicated time and effort into making me better each day.

I loved playing basketball at Second and we were always a top team in the state reaching the state championship game twice. Some coaches that really impacted my development were: Corey Warren, Thomas Smith "T", Danny Evans and many others. Brad Cooper kept me healthy and ready to compete every day and Kim Exley always kept our spirits up and was our biggest supporter.

Second taught me to be a servant leader, which I practiced throughout my collegiate and professional career on and off the field/court. I try to always show by actions and deeds rather than words. Couldn't have asked for a better support system and coaches and faculty believed in me.

Probably the biggest key to success for me was the college guidance team and Christine Oliphant. Making sure that I had all the tools I needed to be academically eligible and get through the NCAA clearinghouse."
