Made 17 appearances, including three starts … Posted a 1-1 record with a 4.50 ERA in 34 innings … Lone victory came in his first start of the year at Rice on Feb. 19, when he worked 5 innings and allowed just one run on four hits … Struck out a season-high four batters in 3.2 innings in his next start at home against TCU on Feb. 26 … Tossed five shutout innings of relief versus Texas Southern on March 6 … Came out of the bullpen on March 10 at Oral Roberts and did not allow a run in 1.2 innings of work … Retired all three batters he faced at Texas A&M on March 19 … Allowed one unearned run and struck out four, while walking one at Cal State Bakersfield on April 19 … Struck out two in one inning of relief versus UT-San Antonio on April 26 … Did not allow a run and struck out one in a 12-4 win over New Mexico State in the Western Athletic Conference Tournament on May 25.

2012 (FRESHMAN)
Made 14 appearances as a true freshman, including nine starts ... Compiled a 3.45 ERA in 47 innings with a 3-3 record ... First collegiate appearance came in relief against Oklahoma State when he threw 2.1 innings without allowing a run and striking out five ... Started against Texas A&M-Corpus Christi on March 3 and allowed one run in three innings ... First midweek start and win came April 3 against TCU in Fort Worth where he threw 4.1 pre-determined innings, allowed three hits, and no runs as part of a DBU 4-3 win ... Went five innings in a start against Texas Tech on April 11 and allowed no runs ... Second win came in seven innings of work against Texas Southern when he walked one and struck out five ... Also got the win against Oklahoma in Norman by going five innings, striking out four, and allowing no earned runs ... Saw action in one game of the Waco Regional with a start against Baylor on June 3.
