Origionally committed to Tulane University after his junior year at Second Baptist, but elected to start his professional career after bring drafted by the Houston Astros n the 3rd round of the 2008 MLB June Amateur Draft.

Professional:
Ross played 10 years of professional baseball between Rookie level and AAA, spending a majority of his time with the Astros organization and the Detroit Tigers. Also played two seasons in the Atlantic League with Bridgeport. Had a career ERA of 4.83 with 1,044 innings pitched as a starting RHP in his professional career.

High School:
When Tulane sign him after his Junior year, Ross was the No. 81st ranked player on Baseball America's list of Top 100 High School Prospects, the No. 39 overall slot a StudentSports.com poll and No. 6 among pitchers in the state of Texas by PGCrossChecker.com.
A first-team TAPPS 4-5A member for three seasons and a two-time first-team all-state honoree, Seaton posted a 1.97 ERA with 108 strikeouts in 73.0 innings of work on the mound in his junior season. A member of the Texas Rangers Area Code Team, he earned All-Area Code honors and was a Texas Area Scouts Association All-Star.
