Janke completed his career at Houston Second Baptist School with 6,971 yards on 850 carries -- an 8.2-yard per carry mark -- and 86 touchdowns. In 46 career games, Janke had 35 100-yard games, just shy of inclusion in the National High School Sports Record Book, and 11 200-yard efforts including a career-high of 417 yards versus Houston Northwest Academy -- now Houston Christian.
