University of Texas Men's Golf senior Travis Vick placed No. 12 in the final 2023 PGA TOUR University Ranking, the PGA announced late Monday evening. By virtue of finishing in the Nos. 11-20 range, Vick was named PGA TOUR University Third Team and earns fully exempt membership on PGA TOUR Canada for 2023, as well as an exemption to Second Stage of 2023 PGA TOUR Q-School presented by Korn Ferry, and conditional status through the Latin America Swing of the 2024 PGA TOUR Americas season.

Vick competed in 12 of UT's 14 events during the 2022-23 season and posted a 72.38 stroke average. He is No. 19 in the current World Amateur Golf Rankings (May 24, 2023) and shot par or better in 14 of his 26 stroke-play rounds this year, including four rounds in the 60s. A three-time All-American while at Texas, Vick was the low amateur at the 2022 U.S. Open, a semifinalist at the 2022 Western Amateur and one of 12 men's players who competed for the American squad at the 2022 Arnold Palmer Cup in Switzerland. He earned second-team All-America honors during his junior season in 2022 while recording a team-best 70.84 stroke average and registering three top-five, six top-10 and nine top-20 individual finishes in 12 stroke-play events during the year and helping the Longhorns win the NCAA team title.

Is close with PGA TOUR and PGA TOUR Champions player Hal Sutton, who has served as his swing instructor.
